ISSN Barcodes- For magazines, and periodical publications

ISBN barcode are used for magazines, newspapers and all other types of periodical publications.

When it comes to getting a barcode for your magazine or newspaper publication, you cannot simply use a retail barcode. Due to the need for national libraries to have a database of all published works in a country, the ISSN barcode was developed. These are a special kind barcode, directly linked to your publication, and registered on the National and world library databases. The ISSN barcode changes with each issue of your publication.

At Barcodes-123, we supply you with high quality ISBN barcodes, all of which are registered with the National Library of South Africa, and all of which are loaded onto the various worldwide library databases. This means that someone in the British National Library in London will be able to look up and request copies of your publication, and will be able to find details about your publication on their local library computers.

With your purchase, you will also receive a set of high-resolution images for printing (3 images per barcode purchased). These image designs are supplied free of charge with every purchase and, once received, can be sent straight through to your printers who will choose the image type that suits them most.
